Probably all of us can remember events that at the time seemed chaotic or stressful; looking back we understand that these were often transition points. Transitions can lead up or down, depending largely on our perception of them--and how we choose to react.

If we can at least understand the change--regardless of the transition-- this can be a harbinger of promise. The greatest part of gratitude, I think, is when we realize all we have to be thankful for, to be contented about. With this kind of mind-set comes ultimate contentment and natural insight.

Soul's Joy

A thankful heart can be a source of virtue:
a loving heart, contented:
natural responses to deepest insights.

When we understand chaotic cycles as fruitful,
gratitude comes.

Gratitude stems from the soul's joy,
being aware of Life's sorrows and happinesses,
realizing all we owe thanks for.
