Outside the Blur

Detached from emotions' folly,
we are able to tread the Way gently.

Non-attachment yields freedom when we
finally let go. When we step outside
emotions' blur, life has greater focus.

Balance sweeps away confusion
and slays inner volatilities.
It's always difficult to abandon the cherished--
from fears and rage, greed and jealousies--
even from love's fervor.

When no longer governed by radical thoughts,
our actions are freed energies, aware in quietude,
accurate in action, drawn from our sacred center-point.

The beginnings of detachment live in the fire of the soul.
Its conclusion lies on the shore of solitude.
