I believe that the human heart is innately good--that conscience guides most of humankind toward the right goals, the highest ethic. That, were this not the case, humanity would have gone extinct milennia ago in a conflagration of selfishness.

Similarly, I think that the majority of those who follow paths that lead to an inner harmony, stride toward the light of virtue and courage. That in doing this, we walk toward contentment.

Saber of Integrity

The inspiration of conscience
is a sacred center-point
of the soul.

Following virtue's path toward self-control,
with conscience as guidepost,
accepting responsibility for actions,
our character strides the path of excellence.

Examination of our conscience signifies courage.
Reflecting, remembering,
hearts follow our conscience,
which bears an innate goodness,
the highest ethic.

Striding toward balance and virtue, heeding the conscience:
this is the saber of our integrity.
When our principles square with the realm of conscience,
we preserve them like treasured memories.

A mellow disposition and contented soul,
impossible with a burdened heart,
start when a quiet conscience and tranquil spirit entwine.
